7Twenty Degrees' Product Drive
We put a lot of emphasis on our customers CHALLENGES and NEEDS and we strive to create connectivity solutions which overcome the challenges without breaking the bank. By doing this we come up with innovative products which are made with passion, quality and integrity and which offers the 7Twenty Degrees Product Promise.
Our Effective 7Twenty Degree Process
We start by meeting with our customer and taking a comprehensive brief from them. We assess their requirements, challenges and current product range.
Then comes the brain storming session to come up with new innovative ideas for the intended product. We then assist with a viability study of the intended product and produce concept drawings.
Design & Prototype Phase
At the commencement of the Design stage, we take all the relevant information that has been discussed and start formulating a design of the product. Once the design has been signed off, we produce an initial prototype of the product which allows the customer to test the product in real life circumstances. We then take that research, development, and testing knowledge and update our designs for final review by the customer. Then comes the brain storming session to come up with new innovative ideas for the intended product. We then assist with a viability study of the intended product and produce concept drawings.
Tooling and Manufacturing Phase
The tooling is one of the most critical phases to the whole process. Here is where the magic happens where we take the design and make it happen. After all the hard work of innovating, designing and prototyping we use the final and signed-off three dimensional drawings to machine large-moulds out of hardened steel. Once the moulds are complete, we are ready to start production. Once the mould has been made and tested, we insert it into an injection moulding machine and start making the master samples for production where both customer and manufacturer agree to the quality. A Product Specifications Manual is presented to the client and all aspects of assembly and process are dealt with in this document. Once all the above has been agreed to, the manufacturer is ready to produce your products.
